Statement (EN)
I do not travel to volcanoes because I want to explain creativity. I travel to them because I feel that we share a language. Not one made of words, but of processes, transformation, waiting, and uncertainty.

Many of the questions I ask myself about creative processes find companionship when I think about them in conversation with a volcano. I speak with volcanoes because I am fascinated by what happens before something appears in the world. And because I, too, spend long periods gestating things that no one sees.

*

I travel to volcanoes to explore a question: what can a volcano reveal to us about creative processes?
